PLANTS OF PINACATE #3


Wolfberry (Lycium species; potato family) with characteristic tubular, funnel-shaped flowers. This thorny-stemmed shrub grows to nearly 2 metres height. Photographed in the Tecolote campground.


Evening primrose (resembling Oenothera brevipes), an annual plant common on the uplifted lava deposits around the Tecolote campsite.
