BANANA YUCCA (Yucca baccata)
The banana yucca is one of several closely related species of Yucca in the southwestern deserts of the USA. characterisitc of the Chihuahuan Desert. They are difficult to tell apart, and often the tree-like species with broad leaves are called Spanish daggers or Spanish boyonets.
