CREOSOTE FLOWERS

CREOSOTE BUSH FLOWERS

The flowers of creosote bush (Larrea tridentata) are about 2.5 cm diameter, with 5 petals that are twisted like the blades of a fan. They are highly attractive to bees. Each fertilised flower produces a ball-shaped fruit covered in fluffy hairs.
